According to DESA regulations, to be classified as a Professional (Client, an ininidual mist meet one or both of the following conditions: 
-Possess net assets of at least $1 million. 
-either: 
a) the individual is, or has been, in the previous two years, an Enployee in a relevant professional position of an Authorised Firm or a Regulated Financial Institution; or 
b) the individual appears, on reasonable grounds, to have sufficient experience and understanding of relevant financial markets, products or transactions and any associated risks, by following an analysis conducted by Westone.

An entity must meet the below condition: 
A Person is a large entity if it met, as at the date of its most recent finandal statements, at least two of the following requirements: 
a) it has a balance sheet total of at least S20 million.
b) it has a turnover at least $40 nillion; or 
c) it has own funds or called up capital of at least $2 million. 
Or 
Client if the entity has any one of the below persons who meets the requirements of a professional client as an individual or as an entity 
a) a controller.
b) a Holding Company. 
c) a Subsidiary; or 
d) a joint venture partners.
